WHAT IS LAMDA?
Lamda stands for LONDON ACADEMY of MUSIC and DRAMATIC ART
Lamda is a highly recognised Acting qualification within the industry and our qualification classes allow our children to gain highly recognised awards to excel their careers and also enhance UCAS points needed for higher education.
With 100% pass rate our children have all achieved Merit or Distinction at exam stage when performing to the awarding board examiners in Manchester
WHY IS LAMDA BENEFICIAL?
Your child can gain a vast amount of skills in both performing and in daily life that can assist them to become a well rounded Actor and young person.
Confidence: They perform individually to a group and an examiner, therefore we provide them with the tuition to become comfortable and confident whether being alone on a stage or with a group. This skill is also beneficial for later life, providing good practice and preparation for situations where public speaking may be required; not only are LAMDA classes useful now, but will continue to be useful even after completion.
Personalised Tuition: We take less students in these classes to allow our focused young performers to experience extra 1:1 time.
Skills: Alongside the regular drama classes, the children are taught all aspects of in depth drama technique including emotions, facial expression, blocking, staging, vocal technique and breathing, reading a script and line learning successfully.
